The SPD have come first in Brandenburg, with the Greens and the LP being wiped out completely. Coalitions to keep the AfD out are now SPD/BSW or SPD/CDU/BSW.
What’s somewhat scary about these results is that if you look at who voted for the AfD, it is all the age cohorts under 59 where the fascists are the most voted for party, and only those over that age have the SPD first, AfD second. The AfD is especially prominent in the 16–24 age bracket.
Or course this has a lot to do with the fact that the higher-educated and left leaning young tend to move away, especially in Brandenburg, with Berlin right there (while in Saxony, for example, they might move to Leipzig or Dresden, which means they don’t leave the state and therefore the electoral statistics). Still, it is a powerful reminder that the youth aren’t going to save us.
It’s really only the 70+ cohort that has voted very clearly against the AfD. With them it is 49% SPD, 17% AfD. For 16–24 it’s 31% AfD, 19% SPD
Only 5 Republican members of the US Congress are calling for the visas of Mr. Alexandre de Moraes and STF ministers to be revoked and for them to no longer be able to travel to the United States. By a coincidence of fate, they were all seen with Bolsonaro’s children in recent times.
These people allege that the STF ministers used their positions to silence freedom of expression in Brazil. For this, they cite the suspension of X determined by Moraes. Brazilian diplomats believe that this is more than impossible. The Biden administration would hardly create a diplomatic crisis for so little. If Mr. Trump wins the elections, things could change, even though he has never visited Brazil

You know like all those people who are pro free speech, except for that by racial justice protesters. And against any curbs on their freedom to assemble to spread disease or attack immigrants but absolutely dead set against the freedom of assembly for racial justice protestors.
