Let a robot paint my walls?

Hell, I’m planning to abduct that robot and give it the Stockholm syndrome treatment until it wants to paint my walls.

Update: I am naming my freshly brainwashed robot “Jackson”.

I would not let a robot do any job unless it could do it better than I can. I’m a horrible painter and hate the task but I’m infinitely better than this.

This is quite an elaborate April Fool’s joke. The laser is a good touch.

Yeah that worked out exactly how I expected it to work out… not at all.

That looks great. I’d love to invite this little guy over to my house and have some fun.

Headline contains a question mark.

Answer is no.

It does a better job than some human housepainters I’ve observed.

I would definitely let a robot paint my walls… maybe not this robot though.

Paul Newman accomplished that already.

Eh, Jackson Pollock paintings sell for some reason.

Reminds me of this old bit:

I want to know how the robot moved sideways on its wheels. I’ve seen very complex wheels where the tire part (the torus) can independently spin in on itself, but these didn’t looks like that to my eye. It was hard to tell from the fraction of a second we saw them move, but it looked like it was just the topology of the wheel’s grooves, combined with them spinning in different directions that made it move sideways. Can anyone confirm?
