Also, what is special about twitter spaces that the same (let’s be honest: a better) experience couldn’t have been provided by YouTube, Zoom, or even SoundCloud?
You forgot Dazn, and while at it Sky or every public or private broadcaster that have a livestream platform.
If we take the hypothesis true, then it follows that twitter it’s a broadcaster. Being a broadcasters has to follow all the regulation broadcasters have.
The phrase “Twitter drive cultural conversation” is the definition of oxímoron.
Elon Musk loves capitalism and free market, except when capitalism and free market works against his wishes. Then a judge should force advertisers to advertise with him.
It’d be terrible if people started using it to generate images of Twitter’s big advertisers’ products being used in inappropriate settings - wouldn’t it?
You could probably have had a better experience in Adobe Connect - there, I said it!
Or RealPlayer

Felony Contempt of Business Model.
Right wingers do coordinated boycotts pretty damned regularly. Anything they designate as “woke” is a target. Remember Bud Lite and the kerfuffle over a trans influencer? Disney and, well, everything? But when they are the target, it is, of course, illegal and unconstitutional and “WAHHHHH!!!” What fucking snowflakes.
It won’t go to trial. It’s a SLAPP lawsuit and it’s already working. Xitter is suing Media Matters, who did some of the original reporting - they’ve had to waste millions on just the discovery phase of the trial and have laid off staff as a result. The non-profit that created the brand safety guidelines used by many advertisers ceased operations and liquidated.
None of which will get advertisers to accept the brand safetey risks of Xitter (search for #blacklivesmatter - it is continually brigaded with hardcore biracial porn, for instance). Advertising on Twitter is brand suicide and must be super tightly (and expensively managed). It’s far easier to just stay away and engage on other platforms.
Let me guess here, TX has no anti-SLAPP laws to invoke? Because you are absolutely correct, this is meant solely to punish anyone who might question the almighty Elno.
