“President” Trump asked if Hewitt was aware of that base. Hewitt excitedly answered that his “son was on that base at that time.”
“President” Trump then directed Hewitt:
“Ok, good. Well say, well then tell him to thank me for his life, ok? You’ll thank me for his life.”
To which Hewitt replied “I’ll do it for him”, after which he climbed under the table and began licking his hero’s arse.

An insincere “thank you for your service” can be pretty tiresome, especially from an idiot who will happily put people in harm’s way, but this is much worse.

It’s pretty amazing that anybody in the military would actually support Trump. He’s shown time and time again that he doesn’t just not care about the military or service members, he has an active loathing for the people and institutions. Unless of course he needs something from them, like a photo op (but keep away the gross wounded ones), to police the border, or to kill some undesirables.
