Call the police because you need help, get killed as a result.

This is why calling the police is generally the worst thing you can do in an emergency.

Yeah, but call 911 for an ambulance and the cops might just roll up anyway. And you’re still screwed.

Oh, I wouldn’t ever call an ambulance here in the states. It’d have to be bad enough that I’m dying, but at that point, I’d rather just die and save my family the expense of medical bankruptcy.
