It almost seems like a recording rather than a live performance - she seems so much more confident than when she’s speaking with the judges (I’m not doubting that it’s really her singing live, I just wasn’t expecting a 12 year old to have that kind of singing voice).
I’d eat this stuff up. I’d buy her album. This is a vibe I can be into. 
Here’s hoping she doesn’t wind up over-produced and hyper-marketed. Part of her appeal is the genuineness of it.
Because she’s a girl? It seems like just existing as a woman in a public space just repels some people.
