15 impossible videos of babies and todllers escaping from cribs

A niece visited us when she was about six, and surprised us a bit by ascending the walls of the hallway with some rapidity.

Toddlers arenā€™t yet able to fend for themselves completely this is the transition age between baby and child. Developmentally they are just starting to test the idea of some limited autonomy. They will typically stick close to mom or dad, and venture away for a bit and come back. The are children in training so to speak.

If the toddler is old enough to be escaping a crib then the are too old to be being placed in a crib anymore as it no longer provide safety and present a significant danger of head and neck injury, and as you mentioned it is time to graduate to a big kid bed. The cribs being discussed are intended ONLY for babies, hence my original points.

Sounds like you have 2 happy kids and that is what is important. That is sweet that he missed his old bed, Iā€™ve heard that is quite common. For my little sister it was a blanket, she could sleep anywhere as long as she had her blankie. All the best to you and your family.

Oh noes!!!

These parents think Vaseline is just for bums and runny noses. Never thought to wipe a little on the railing before bedtime.

They have the cribs upside down. Youā€™re supposed to put them on top of the children.

daneel jr climbed out of his crib a month or so ago. So itā€™s co-sleeping and trying (and failing) to get him into his own bed now.
