Returns from the Guardian on SC primary:
God damnit. I mean this was largely predicted, but still.
MSNBC has him at 52% of the vote at this point. 17% counted.
Sanders 2nd with 17%.
Steyer 12%
Buttigieg 7%
Steyer drops out of the race.
Don’t get all verklempt.
Now if we could get rid of the other billionaire we would be getting somewhere.
Jesus - Buttigieg is giving a long ass speech instead of just graciously thanking his supporters and moving on - all 8% of them.
They keep cutting him off and coming back to him - and there he is - blathering on triumphally.
in style
“Because he knows his time is short…”
Eh - I have no problem with someone dancing.
And he deserves credit for putting impeachment on the menu. Now he can go fund whoever wins the nomination.
Does fake it till you make it work in primaries?
I FULLY support dancing, but I think Steyer dancing to “Back That Azz Up” deserves a gif for posterity!
Hey - maybe he has the ass for it?
Wouldn’t bet my lunch money on that.
Unless he is wearing seriously constricting undergarments, it would appear that he suffers from what @Melizmatic referred to as “noassatall.”
I heard Steyer on the progressive talk show circuit quite a few times and in general I liked what he had to say. I can’t say I’m sad to see him go but if any billionaire were to leave I’d much prefer if it had been Bloomberg.
This is not a bad thing:
Good on him.
he’s no sean spicer that’s for sure.
( thank goodness )
So, the expectations of Biden’s impending collapse, and Sanders’ unstoppability, seem to have been premature.
This does look pretty bad for Warren’s chances, though.
