Chris Hayes calls for Donald Trump’s resignation over COVID failure
Hayes: “It is an urgent matter of public health, of public safety at this moment for the president, Donald Trump to resign”

Sure, but that seems like a waste of breath really, given that it just ain’t gonna happen.
in this case, since they’re so dead set against mail-in voting ( including trying to kill the post office ) it’s probably that they’ve tried and failed to figure out how to rig mail-in voting. rigging ( or more accurately tilting i guess ) in-person voting on insecure error-prone voting machines is definitely where they’ve had the most successful investment.
There’s been growing concern from Republicans over recent weeks that all the anti-mail-in-voting rhetoric is going to hurt them big-time for voter turnout since Republican voters don’t trust absentee ballots anymore.
Of course, it will just feed the conspiracy theories further if the mail-in vote tally ends up being overwhelmingly Democratic as a result.
Officials and strategists warned that if a wide partisan gap over mail voting continues in November, Republicans could be at a disadvantage.

So be it (and fuck them to Hell too). As such people say about Trump losing by 3 million votes, a loss is a loss.

Yeah, I’m just worried that anything less than a devastating defeat for Trump is going to be disputed by his fans and supplicants, possibly violently. He’s the first President in the history of our country that doesn’t seem even remotely concerned about things like “peaceful transfer of power.”
Is that a real sign? Can we get them somewhere? I have a perfect spot on my fence for one.

ETA more direct link, but that first one has a lot of juicy morsels as well.
Thanks! Now I need to find a print shop willing to print one up for me in a visible size.
President Trump’s reelection campaign is suing Pennsylvania's secretary of state and 67 county election boards in an effort to change how mail-in ballots are sent and counted.
He knows his support is slipping in PA, and is trying to prevent a repeat of the huge number of blue ballots submitted for the primary.
He’s down by 8-9% in PA at this point.
That makes Mike Dukakis look wildly popular.
That makes Mike Dukakis look wildly popular.
Well, he did go to college in Pennsylvania.
The figure had stayed above 50% for nearly all of Trump’s presidency.
Any bets on their newfound despondency being for terrible reasons, like the scale of BLM protests, or trans rights and abortion access winning at the Supreme Court?
And the “solution” being that Trump wasn’t horrible enough?
If it makes them stay at home instead of voting, I couldn’t care less about their motivations.
This cracked me up.
Though he has served as president for 3½ years, just 37 percent say Donald Trump has the right experience for the job, while 67 percent say Joe Biden does.
Ugh… I hope not. I seriously hope a good many of them are looking around at what’s happening and looking to actually change shit now.
Hmmmmmm…both Stacey Abrams and Joe Biden are giving talks to the NEA Annual Meeting today and tomorrow respectively if that means anything to anybody.
FYI It’s the World’s Largest Democratic Deliberative Assembly.
