Also, Regiiiiina…
Oh man, fivethirtyeight are getting tired and snarky:
Officers responded about 11 p.m. to the scene in the 1300 block of N.W. Eugene, from which one person was taken by ambulance to a hospital with gunshot wounds that were considered potentially life-threatening, said police Lt. Joe Perry.
Two other people later sought hospital treatment in Topeka after arriving by private vehicle after suffering from gunshot wounds, Perry said. The seriousness of their injuries wasn’t clear.
Of course, the presidency isn’t the only thing that’s on the ballot. Even in “safe” states there are ballot measures on the cards as well, some of which could have a huge impact on the material conditions of life for your fellow americans. Folks in CA, here’s some corporate awfulness that you’ll have to vote NO on:
The rideshare companies already lost this fight so they took it through the CA proposition route. Now they’ve buddied up with MADD to try to defeat this proposition. I don’t like drunk driving as much as the next responsible person, but this is a low blow. If MADD is so worried (what with most bars closed in CA), I say that they should volunteer to drive drunk people. Uber and Lyft are slimy bastards and MADD members should be ashamed of themselves.
They should have to change their name to Mothers Executive Responsible Directive Excrement: MERDE
Something like 93 million people have already voted in this election. 139 million voted in 2016. Perhaps 2/3rds of people have already voted - more today and tomorrow- though turnout on Election Day is still going to be large.
Unprecedented while Trump is unpresidented.
Dozens of people! That’s pathetic.
Another odd quiz.
Turns out in real life, Karens vote Biden. “If you’re losing Karen’s, you’re losing women.”
Twitter, naturally, is responding appropriately is responding as only Twitter knows how.
Funding from the Russian Government?
According to https://electproject.github.io/Early-Vote-2020G/index.html there are still 30 million mail-in ballots that have yet to be received. About 90 million ballots were requested. In previous years about 80% of requested ballots were eventually counted. Being conservative you would think that this means that there are at least 10 million more mail-in ballots still at risk of being excluded.
Reuters appears to be carrying water for the “woe is me, what happened to civil disagreements” crowd…
