And he still could lose. Unfuckingbelievable.

The remaining votes are heavily leaning democratic. Trump is not making up any ground with them.

Good though, nobody should be doing that.

Nor should it be a thing. Seriously, it doesn’t have to be. It doesn’t matter if some political operative calls it that they’ve won, or some or all TV stations. It’s the fucking count centre that calls it via the returning officer and the huge network of tally counts. Honestly, there is so much wrong with my country but you don’t queue to vote and nobody has a reason to say an election was fraud because everybody has their tally checks there: they count each other and consensus is always achieved. In public. So they shake hands with the winner and slink off till next time while the winner is carried aloft on shoulders and they all jump around.

This shit is inexfuckingcusable fuckwittery.

This is good news. I hope that this shows the Democratic party taking the down ballot more seriously and pouring more into local and state elections, so we can start taking back state houses.

I just have to keep telling myself “Wisconsin and Michigan is all we need” and both of these states are looking good right now.

Provisional good news for woofers in Colorado

I believe Trump is in the number three slot though: Biden, Obama 2008, Trump 2020. That’s a lot of shitty people.

my perspective today is: every minute that bunkerboy is in a froth about maybe losing is worth a bit of my own discomfort about him maybe winning.

i hope he’s full up on his dosage of steroids and adderall, pacing the halls, punching holes in the walls*, and making the lives of his cronies miserable.

( *figuratively or literally either’s fine by me )

He’s not getting his deposit back!

That can’t be true. He lost the popular vote to Clinton, and received fewer votes than several losing republican candidates.

I read that comment to mean the number of votes the racist-in-chief has received this election puts him in the #3 slot, because of the sheer number of votes cast in this election.

ETA: and the sheer number of racist assholes living in the US with us. I am so angry and sick.

Edit:

Trump would have to pay for a recount in Wisconsin- if the results are within.25% the state pays. You can request a recount up to 1% - but you pay for those above the .25%.

They better get paid upfront.

Exactly. From the Guardian:

Trump’s total so far – 67,160,663 – is also more than he polled in 2016, and more than Obama polled in 2012. It places Trump third on the all-time list.

So, if this thing turns out ok, that makes Trump the biggest loser, right?
