Campaign staff salary, once you figure on the 14 hours/day spent, is never anywhere near min wage. What is interesting here is (a) Bernie’s staff decided to complain about it, and (b) he publicly chastised them for their complaints.
Huh. How this could play out might be interesting.
it’s be interesting to see that redone with who the majority shareholders and board members are

If someone as mainstream as Joy gets it… Anyone who says they’ll vote Trump if the Dems do/don’t do something isn’t worth chasing. Period. End of sentence, end of paragraph, end of book.
At this point it’s basically just saying “I’ll burn this country down myself if I can’t get what I, specifically, want”
"But I don’t need social programs, so we should get rid of them! "
McAfee — who is seeking the Libertarian Party’s nomination for US president in 2020 — asked his Twitter followers on Friday whether he should also campaign to be British prime minister.
Why would any serious candidate participate in a “Buzzfeed event”?
Zentrum strikes again.
I’m not on the twitters, so what does “ratioed” mean? I get what the hearts are, but what are the bubbles? Retweets?
Perhaps the reaction is that as many people have responded to her as liked her. I think there is some disagreement with her proposal as it seems to be meant not primarily as a way to relieve student debt, but as an incentive program for business startups in disadvantaged communities. Perhaps all the replies were of the “Why not both?” variety.
I thought I was the only one who didn’t know! I’m so glad you asked.

First number is comments, second number is retweets, third number is likes. Typically, a normal post will receive a few comments, a few retweets, and a relatively large number of likes.
A tweet that receives more comments than likes is said to have been “ratioed”, because it has a poor comments:likes ratio. In Twitter culture, “you’ve been ratioed” loosely translates as “you said something that the Twitter public found to be stupid and/or offensive”.
It’s particularly notable when it happens to high-profile public figures, because they tend to have thousands of followers who automatically like or retweet anything they post. For an account with a large number of followers to be ratioed generally implies that they significantly fucked up.
