2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine (Part 2)

– Why are you leaving?
– It’s cold!
– What about our boys in the trenches?
– Well, that’s destiny…

I’m sorry. I know it’s grim, but it’s just so Russian I can’t keep from laughing.

Not that thread.

This thread.

Despite the stewards’ efforts, a stream of people managed to leave the stadium before Putin’s big speech. SOTA reports that students who had been forced to attend got back to their dormitories before Putin had even begun speaking.

Ah - mixed my threads - but so? BBC showed footage of point 7. Lots of people.

Just adding to the conversation.

Putin’s suggestion on Tuesday that Russia could resume nuclear testing has so far received less attention than the announcement of a New START suspension. It was not clear why Russia alluded to the United States possibly resuming nuclear testing.

Nuclear weapons tests have had a record of wide and long-lasting impacts on military personnel, populations, and the environment. A resumption of nuclear testing would put an end to a global moratorium in place since Cold War times

On the U.S. side, we just had that announcement about laser-powered ignition of a fusion reaction in December that so many people reported on as if it was about clean energy.

If our own press can get that announcement so wrong without trying to be malicious, imagine what one which has already attempted to create stories of nuclear weapons creation at Chernobyl could do.

The revolving door between Republican propaganda and Russian propaganda.

Mother: “They even found all these papers with signatures from the U.S. all over Ukraine. Biden’s son is the mastermind behind all of this.”

This breakdown is a week old but still, check out what these idiots did in an anti-tank minefield.

So basically the russians have incredibly poorly trained tank crews. Now imagine how bad things will get for said crews when they go up against ukrainians driving abrams tanks.

The original video hosted by The Sun is pretty grewsome. The ukrainian drone operators were absolutely merciless to that crew.
