If the West can never inflict a strategic defeat on Russia, it doesn’t matter how many weapons they supply, right Vova? Or do you mean that the West can inflict a strategic defeat if it gives Ukraine enough weapons?

The ramifications of Russia’s influence south of the Mediterranean are not to be underestimated. This is a tiny investment for Russia, but a possibility for disruption which is really, really, REALLY overproportional to that investment.
Europe and the US are underestimating this at our own peril. And there is a bloody line of continuity back to the ‘struggle for Africa’ I am very unhappy about.
