Yeah, the whole capitulation thing DeJoy did might as well have been a scene from an 80’s teen comedy where the protagonists steal a bunch of stuff and the lookout (DeJoy) is watching his compatriots walk past with the sorting machines, and only stopped distracting Dean/Principal Pelosi once they were in the clear.

Mail for me has slowed to a crawl. Packages are spending days sitting in sorting facilities before going anywhere. Letters are arriving days later than they should. It’s a fucking shit show.

Bloody hell, that shit DeJoy closed the main Lansing post office a couple years ago - all of Lansing’s mail now has to go to Grand Rapids for sorting. This move is clearly meant to fuck with our absentee voting for the November election. I encourage all Michiganders to make the extra effort to take their ballots directly to their clerk’s office. It won’t be easy for everyone, but it’s looking like this is what we will have to do to ensure our votes are counted.
