Still searching for her Clyde…
My first take on this article was “This reminds of that movie Tough Guys (Wiki link)”.
However, after reading it? I’m half tempted to try and see if I can get my own mother to try her hand at it; at least she’d get room, board, and medical care. (which is a commentary on the sad state of this world…)
My mom insists that at 89 she is too old to start a new profession, and that lying on the couch reading is enough. Nothing I say seems to sway her resolve.
I mean… that sounds heavenly? Let her?
Dang it, of course I let her! She’s been living this life for years now. I also suggest that she needs to practice her ballet skills because we’ve seen video of a 100 year old dancer performing Swan Lake, and she has plenty of time to learn the choreography. Her most strenuous exercise is a 1/4 mile walk with me and the dog, using her rolling Walker and taking frequent rests.
Why jump on a post that’s kind of obviously a joke?
I didn’t think I was “jumping”?
