Watching him and his daughter try them out on a tiled floor just made me cringe too much to keep watching… Tile is sooo good at breaking stuff…

Exactly my first thought, too.

It used to be medical wisdom that rest was a magical modality that helped most orthopedic injuries, but nowadays, getting mobile ASAP is (generally) more advised. But still not this. Check with your doctor, YMMV on the condition.

They kind of look like they’d at least be easier on the armpits if you used them in a normal fashion.

Someone created an art piece about how one with a broken leg would be able to still continue to “earn” enough to cover the medical costs…

Note: Original (from a different artist) was a one-of-a-kind art piece condemning the state of medical care in the United States.
