That was before the cataclysm happened, and I for one didn’t even believe it back then. When they go low, I pound them in the nuts and say try it again bitch.
Yet another case of everything they do being projection. They think the democrats are run by a cabal because they are run by a cabal (not so shadowy, they admitted on the news that they passed their last tax bill only to please their wealthy donors). They call for transparency when Democrats are in power because they know how badly transparency would hurt them so they figure it would also hurt the Democrats.
ETA: Real transparency would be awfully painful for the Democrats, that doesn’t mean but I don’t think Jr’s reasons for believing that are reality-based.
Remember how like a day ago Trump said we need to come together to stop gun massacres and then shortly afterwards he continued to attack the press like he usually does? Take a wild guess which message the guy with a gun who walked into USA Today chose to ignore
The copycats have been unleashed.
USA Today won’t have to update their freshly made graphic. That IS good news.

Fuck.
Adairsville? Yep, that tracks.
Also, the poor woman moved to Calhoun to get away from the racists in Adairsville!
Not OK.
In further evidence that calling the police is frequently a bad idea:
I can only say WTF and sadly shake my head…

An elegant solution which, indeed, goes back to the intent of the 2nd amendment.
Back to a time when state militias were the norm (not yet replaced by the national guards).
A modest proposal, indeed.
The final sentence hits the nail on the head:
How different would our gun debate be today if the focus weren’t on the selfish right to personal protection but on our responsibility to serve our country?
I’m not much on patriotism, so I can take or leave the “serve our country” bit, but the discussion of guns has to be reframed away from individuals being allowed to do whatever they want and towards some sort of collective good. The movement called “conservativism” is so focused on individual rights it has no space for responsibility, duty, caution, or any of the other goods that it wants to be associated with.
Curt Brockway, who was charged this week with felony assault on the 13-year-old boy, suffered a traumatic brain injury and was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army over his disability, which his lawyer Lance Jasper said contributed to his actions. “His commander in chief is telling people that if they kneel, they should be fired, or if they burn a flag, they should be punished,” Jasper said. “He certainly didn’t understand it was a crime.”
Yeah no. If he really is ‘following Trump’s orders’ he is a threat to others and shouldn’t be out unsupervised.
As the saying goes- “your right to swing your arm ends at my nose”. And there’s a lot of bloody noses lately.
