šŸ–• šŸŠ 🤔 A Continuing Round-Up of Trumpian Events šŸ–• šŸŠ 🤔

They might have some doctors on staff? But sure…

But my point was that embassies themselves are considered sovereign territory.

(so as not to post twice in a row, there’s also this)

US spies say Trump’s G7 performance suggests he’s either a ā€˜Russian asset’ or a ā€˜useful idiot’ for Putin

He’s an ā€œassetā€ to Russia because he IS a useful idiot.

Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.

I think the question that strikes people watching the president is: Why is it, when it comes to everything but Russia, Trump is a useless idiot…?

A friend of mine pointed out that’s a very privileged position. If you are, as they are, queer and black, you have spent your life having to watch out for people you don’t know who literally want to kill you. Hanlon’s razor is great for cutting people in your life some slack, but when it comes to white supremacy, it’s literally a bug in your thinking that they are intentionally exploiting.

You can’t make this shit up.
The trump campaign blames it on an independent producer, the independent producer blames it on teh googles and wonders why it served up white supremacist content when queried for trump logo.

I googled ā€œtrump logo png.ā€ It returned several images, which I recreated.

GOOGLE. TAGGED. THAT. LION. AS. MAGA.

If it’s something else, it occurs to me the REAL question is: Why is GOOGLE associating white supremacist metadata with Trump/MAGA? pic.twitter.com/zfhxabZq6F

Gotta say, that mixture of upper and lower case, numbers, and the umlaut – especially the umlaut! – sure screams 1337 EDGELORD professional to me.

When I read the first tweet I thought of it like a news story, so my brain told me the picture next to it was a picture of the governor, not a picture of the reporter. I was confused.

This person seems to be on the verge of a realization I doubt they will ever arrive at.

It’s the same realization that Twitter keeps not having when they protest that they can’t algorithmically ban white supremacy the way they do with ISIS because so many Republican politicians would get swept up in the ban too.

…and yet the GOP loves to brand liberals as the ones being out of touch with the common man.

I’m sure all those class trips to the plains of Africa helped prepare for hang’n with the Common Ky. Man.

I know that mocking Trump’s ridiculous appearance is like shooting fish (ha ha! he’s orange!) but the photo on that article was so awful that it’s either been doctored a bit by Reuters or Trump’s gone downhill further than I realized.
ugghhhtrump

Seriously, what is going on with the bronzer/makeup there, Donny? Do you not realize that you’ve got wide swaths of pink skin with no orange/brown stuff on them, and it’s making you look like a clown-dictator from Hunger Games?

The color intensity may be off, but other than that, I don’t think the pic is doctored; he really does look that fucking awful.

I’d like to think it’s the stresses of the job getting to him, but it’s probably just the anger of him not getting his way.

Is there a difference between racially insensitive and racist? (No)

I’m not knocking your post, but damn, it sucks how in these times when white supremacy is more out in the open than it has been in decades, others are more hesitant than ever to identify racism as racism.
