What fresh hell is this? The 10th Mountain Division posted a picture of a nazi who killed over 80 American POWs to memorialize the Battle of the Bulge, which my grandfather fought in?
Yes, they did. My grandfather didn’t go to Europe to have the current US Army put up pictures of nazis that seem to be admiring decades later… He went to shoot and punch nazis, which is what he did. Thanks Pop-Pop!

ETA: The 10th Mountain Division twitter page was a spoof/copycat/whatever. I can’t speak for the 18th Airborne page or the Facebook pages since I don’t Facebook and the huffpost article doesnt have pictures.
ETA: There’s a number of copycat twitter accounts popping up. The 18th Airborne is @18airbornecorps, not @XVIII.Airborne.Corps as shown in the screenshots. But the @18airbornecorps account apologized? Weird.
