When that doesnât yield results, Stephanie Grisham will distribute sharpies to the press office and send them out to correct every weather report everywhere, and when that fails, Trump will assassinate the prime minister of Finland.

Not sure I give him credit for that much forethought. I see this as bowing to right wing âwar on drugs, terror of a demon weedâ troglodytes. He often hurts people he needs to curry support from, and they dont seem to be bothered by that mostly. (There are farmers who have finally had enough. Maybe there is a line?)

So, Iâm in the middle of a bath remodel and have become aware that there is a shortage of certain types of wood vanities. Many are no longer available or have long lead times for delivery. Overall selection has dropped.
Chinese manufacturers may be withholding shipment because of this trump tariff / import nonsense:
At least in one case a delayed delivery was because a manufacturer shifted operations to Vietnam.
What a mess.

After journalist Timothy Burke (a former Daily Beast employee) posted a series of videos of actor Vince Vaughn chummily chatting with Trump and Melania in a skybox, accompanied by a cheeky caption, right-wing Twitterâs blue-checkmark brigade assembled, accusing lefty Twitterâwith no evidence whatsoeverâof being âtriggeredâ by the episode.
There was the Washington Examiner âs Siraj Hashmi, who, mimicking a liberal, cracked that âVINCE VAUGHN IS CANCELED.â This refrain was echoed by right-wing columnist Rita Panahi, far-right blogger/trolley/serial plagiarist Benny Johnson, former NRA mouthpiece (and worldâs foremost Neil Young hater) Dana Loesch, and those at Ben Shapiroâs right-wing rag The Daily Wire , who ran an article claiming âleftistsâ were âfreaking outâ over Vaughnâs back-and-forth with Trump and Melania, while only citing ânumerous small left-wing accountsâ that went uncited in the piece; rather, the piece chose to cite the tweets of a number of prominent right-wing talking heads imagining how the left would react to the news.
Vaughn, the 49-year-old star of Wedding Crashers and Swingers , is a staunch libertarian, having said he voted for Rand Paul in the 2016 election and supported Ron Paul before him. This is not a secret. In a controversial British GQ interview, he also spoke up for the rights of gun owners and advocated for arming schoolteachers to prevent mass shootings.
