And trials aren’t necessarily about new evidence. It’s about making a judgement on the evidence available- which is damming.
But - let’s argue about no new evidence instead of looking at what evidence there is - whole denying any new evidence from being entered into the record.

Morning edition had on a republican this morning (can’t remember who now) who, when asked about the GAO report that Trump had broke the law, said that Obama did it too, 5 times… 
But then, they did a story on disinformation, and they had a woman who found a story from a fake news source (she was a Trump supporter), who when she figured that out, said “well, both sides do it.”
That seems to be where we are, that the game matters more than the country…
