This was my thought. Do these ICE employees mind being sacrificed in this way? Like every single one of them is going to get coronavirus with nearly 100% certainty, right? And then they’ll take it to work, give it to everyone else, give it to their bosses, etc.

We got lucky these past few years – we were always one major crisis away from everything collapsing. We got close with brinkmanship with Iran and North Korea, the disastrous trade war with China, and various xenophobic mass shootings. Seems like our luck finally ran out, and worst of all it was all completely preventable.
