I’m certain that is what he’s trying to say… The guardian pointed out there was a guy on fox news talking about this shortly before he tweeted… I mean, of course. Because he really doesn’t have original ideas. It’s scary how much influence Fox has. He’s just badly reiterating what some talking head on fox said.

My prediction is that by Monday there will be no tariffs. This has been one of his moronic “negotiating tactics” which has unfortunately wrung some concessions out of Mexico.
That said, I support the buying of tequila. I’m drinking it now!

I guess maybe I stepped behind the tequila bottle and came out the other side as Captain Obvious, Defender of the Unmysterious. It’s difficult to keep current on which of Trump’s absurdities we’re supposed to be taking seriously, and the media treats them all like Solomonic pronouncements which is infuriating. Trump isn’t playing 12 dimensional chess, he’s playing three card monte, the only game he knows, and America is the mark.

When does the winning start?
For all these trade wars on so many fronts, I haven’t heard anything about any newly booming industries here as a result. Employment is up, but wages are stagnant, and costs are rising. All Trump seems interested in is bullying allies, or projecting what he feels is power to rivals. Meanwhile no upside is being seen by the rest of us. Obama handed Trump a great economy and he’s hell bent on fucking it all up.

Employment is now stalling, and the odds are that the rates will be brought down as a result. The economy isn’t in free fall, but it’s stumbling in a downward direction.
