Rahm Emanuel was the Platonic ideal of a “snotnosed punk” back 1000 years ago when anyone outside of Chicagoland gave a rat’s ass about him, and you’d think Dowd might have more recent/relevant sources to draw from, but I don’t think AOC is doing herself any favors keeping Chakrabarti around her either.

The US must give asylum seekers a chance to bring their claims before authorities by law. Under the new agreement, asylum seekers wouldn’t have a chance to make their case in the US — instead, any asylum seekers, not only Central Americans, could be sent to Guatemala.
The country that many are fleeing is now a “safe haven” eh? How will they determine which “could be sent”?

He’s just on there spewing out every hate-buzzword he can, as fast as possible: communist, socialist, anti-semitic, racist. None of them even make sense here (well, except for socialist, which, huzzah), but they sound scary for some people. He also said he doesn’t care if the refugees are in there for “400 days” and that he has no sympathy for them at all.
One day we’ll find out what happened to Lindsay Graham’s tiny withered soul and which of his horcruxes Trump keeps in his desk drawer.
