I mean, as people have said in another thread about the “secret” of Trump’s bizarre private behaviors, is this any surprise or any worse than his public behaviors? Pushing conspiracy theories about victims of mass shootings for cash is a pretty cruel, unfeeling and bananas…

I don’t know how many more stories about paranoid, conspiracy loving, sweaty white guys who use their influence to harm people less powerful than themselves I can stand.

Alex Jones has certainly committed offenses against common decency and moral rectitude. Can we impeach and remove him from the human race?

Remember when he was fighting to keep joint custody of his children and his lawyer was basically arguing “he may seem crazy and unstable in front of the cameras but that’s really just a character he puts on for entertainment purposes…” and then Jones immediately made a public statement saying “NO IT’S NOT I REALLY AM THIS CRAZY.”

So the good news is at least THOSE kids are relatively safe now.

Owens said he grew to regret working for Jones

That’s like growing to dislike red-hot pokers shoved in your eyes. That it does happen carries little meaning, but the time it takes to do so speaks volumes.

The animal remained standing as Jones shot round after round. Finally, the hunting guide yelled at Jones to stop and handed him a high-caliber rifle. Jones took a moment to make sure the cameras were still recording and fired a few more rounds as the animal finally collapsed.

Well that’s quite the pathetically disturbing anecdote. Yeesh.

Who wants to bet whether he has the bison head mounted in his house and pretends he “hunted” it when telling the story?

So all evidence points to him being a gross, hypermasculine bully. I already knew this about him. He’s been a fuckup since high school. But he’s good at promoting himself. Check out this episode of This American Life about the Sandy Hook hoaxer awfulness, and especially the last segment, which shines a none-too-flattering light on the origins of Jones himself. Make no mistake, he is exactly as terrible as he appears to be, protestations about his public face being a persona notwithstanding.

I’m looking into it…

Fuck you, “Josh Owens”, for helping to enable and maintain the career of a known maniac.

Owens said he grew to regret working for Jones and quit on April 7, 2017.

Huh, Who knew working for Alex Jones would be a horror show? That would have been so hard to predict.

One suspects that it was drugged to make it easier for this sort of incompetent “outdoorsman” to get in a second shot.

Given the details about his “hunting” here. I’m thinking full on sociopath and potential serial killer.

Cause that shit ain’t hunting. That sounds like caught masturbating over the neighbor’s mutilated cat territory.

Sounds about right. Linklater missed an opportunity to include that detail in Waking Life.

Haven’t seen that one yet, but he is also in A Scanner Darkly ( you can also see rotoscoped Keanu Reeves peen, if that is one’s thing.)

Jones used to be a fun diversion no one took too seriously. Like Art Bell talking about bigfoot and aliens and shit like that. Now he’s fucking scary because people think anything out of his mouth isn’t pure gibberish.

The guy intentionally fired a rifle at you and you later “grew” to “regret” working for them? I know we’re not supposed to diagnose people, but does this guy have Stockholm syndrome?
