It’s for reasons like this that I usually put the scare quotes around “the” bible when I write it out, so as to make it very clear that there is not just one.

I generally ask them to quote the relevant section in the original language. If they can’t, then they’re obviously not a “real” Christian.
Most of these dickheads don’t even know that the bible was written long before English was even a language

Why are you reporting on a story illustrating the systemic patterns of anti-lgbtq+ harassment that happened 4 months ago boing boing?
Could it possibly be because it is part of a larger, longer-term tapestry of the way this kind of harassment is everywhere, always?

I think sometimes people forget that not everything goes viral immediately.
The internet is a huge morass of content, this kind of thing has to make its way past cute kittens and dumb criminal videos.
