I have hope that this is the case. He’s seen by a majority as grossly mishandling the protests, the majority disagree with him on the validity and necessity of the protests, he’s losing in the polls, he’s losing in the swing state polls, he’s cluster fucking his own convention, he’s losing the military and his previous high ranking staff are trying to get his stank off of them.
When he’s no longer in the White House, he’s not going to have a pleasant, uneventful retirement. Wonder if he’ll have to leave the country?
I’d like to think that at this point any country, even those without extradition policies, would happily return him so that we can give him permanent room and board in the federal pen.
The first thing that strikes me, actually, is how much tear gas there still is.
Such an excellent choice during covid-19. I’m sure that’ll help in so many ways.
Even Putin doesn’t really give a fuck about him
He is eligible for UK citizenship through his mother from Scotland. And possibly Slovenia by marriage through Melania; though that good character requirement could be a road block.
I’d love to hear the trash talking he’d get everyday in Scotland.
The mayor wrote, while simultaneously proposing to increase the police budget.
“Hm, why did someone label that image … OH! ”
I’d hate to think of Scottish soil being tainted by his presence, but you are so right: the best insults in the world are off-the-cuff remarks from any average Scot. It would be the only reality show with him as the ‘star’ that I’d actually watch.
(Note: I am not of Scottish origin. I’ve lived and worked there, and have friends there, and so I’ve learned first-hand how impressive that country is. It’s an outsider’s appreciation!)
A funny thing happened overnight in the world of space and politics as a campaigning video featuring SpaceX’s commercial crew launch and promoting US President Donald Trump was abruptly pulled from YouTube.
“Make Space Great Again” was uploaded to YouTube following the successful launch, attended by Trump, and featured a mix of footage including some from the Demo-2 commercial crew mission.
It also set off a firestorm of protests, including one from retired astronaut, Karen Nyberg, who is married to NASA 'naut, Doug Hurley. Hurley is one of the two lucky crew-members of that Demo-2 mission.
Nyberg, understandably, was somewhat aggrieved that imagery of her and her son was being used in what she described as “political propaganda” without consent.
The chutzpah of that guy…
Welcome to the resistance Miss Conway
A daddy’s girl, I take it?
Not exactly resistance, but…
Gotta wonder if they split off, what happens next?
We get a broad coalition of people who want ranked choice voting or something like that?
