Following up to myself:
As promised - I voted on the first day that the polls were open for early in-person voting.
Huge turnout.
While I was at the town hall, I also dropped off my expired meds at the police station, and then walked down the street to a pharmacy and got a flu shot (which is mostly to protect the community, rather than me personally).
Because, contrary to what some politicians would have us believe, a lot of us are responsible adults and do thise things.
I hope Smudge is one voter less vexed!
