They employed his campaign manager and did more than any other network to enable his bullshit campaign. I don’t understand.
Maybe they can do their job properly now.

Quite honestly, it seems like while he should be sending CNN flowers for helping put him in office, he simply can’t forgive them for accurately reporting the crowd numbers at his inauguration.
Is there a equivalent term for Poe in politics rather than religion? Or is it the same thing, really?
Actual LOL over here!
Jesus tits, have they been trained such that they are no longer a co-equal branch of government?
That’s not okay at all!
What’s that thing that cometh before a fall? Yeah, that.
Funny, the GOP only cares about “state’s rights” sometimes.
@Snowlark: they passed legislation here in Michigan. I call it ‘right-to-poverty.’ So far, hasn’t produced the expected drop in union membership numbers.
@Spartacus: why do I smell a sockpuppet? Prime suspects: @OtherMichael and @anon29631895.
And I thought McConnell was just saying how much he didn’t want to change rules. Guess he was totally full of shit. Whoulda thunk?
Except they are presenting themselves as a conservative staffer that got in and then decided to speak publicly and not as a mole. That’s why they still praise Preibus constantly, and praise other conservative efforts.
Is it probably fake? Sure. Is there reason to be convinced it is fake? Not so much.
I have not been combing over every word, but there is nothing incredibly controversial about it yet and the truth will come out in time.
I’ve had a grand total of one alt-account, we shared a name, and it was shut down within hours.
I’m getting tired of being blamed for running multiple accounts, when some of the regulars seem to make it a full-time job.
Trump’s just egging him on, too.
I love the hypocrisy here in that none of this would have been necessary if Congress simply did its fucking job when Merrick was up for confirmation.
These are scary times when the majority can just change the fucking rules whenever they feel like it to get their desired outcome. It’s like a real life Calvinball playing out in front of us, and the entire country loses.
Awesome.
They also want to ramp up stuff in Yemen.
I thought Clinton was meant to be the warmongery one?
Welp, so much for tenure ever being an option for me. It will be lectures or adjuncts all the way down, no job security, and no deviation from the “right” historical narrative.
I agree, but this is one area where the modern Democratic leadership has been very soft. The Obama led establishment loves itself some bureaucracy and unspoken rules.

[/quote]Just as my favorite example, Greenwald took a break on covering Trump, his campaign, and his administration for an entire year. He last spoke directly about Trump on 12/08/2015, mentioned him as a footnote at attacking the Democratic Party, the press, and Clinton a couple times more - once in February and twice in March. The next time he even attempts to address Trump’s words or policy it was on 1/28/2017 despite having Trump’s name mentioned in two articles immediately following the election.
I mean, he’s the worst example of a popular alternative media source in this election but it is a pretty common phenomena for the past year.
And yet, the Democrats would definitely do it if given a chance. Politicians seem to suffer from long-term memory loss, and don’t seem to consider that shenanigans they pull for a short-term gain today will come back to haunt them when they inevitably fall from power.
I suspect that Trump and his goons wouldn’t be making these executive orders quite so boldly had Obama not stretched the boundries the last merry go round.
At a lower rate/year than anyone since Grover Cleveland’s first term?
The number he made is not relevant. Their content was. And I’m not even suggesting that there wasn’t justification, considering the recalcitrant Congress, but he tried to use his authority in ways that stretched the boundries of what had been done before. And in Washington, whenever you bend the rules to suit your own desires, those rules will eventually be bent against them. What goes around always comes around.
I’d like to think that the dem’s motives are slightly more altruistic than “fuck you got mine” though.
