Not surprisingly, Trump’s first military order was an utter shitshow. It’s a strike that Obama rejected due to insufficient intelligence. An 8 year old American girl was killed. Well done, asshole.

Doesn’t surprise me that Trump fucked it up but they’re just an appalling idea full-stop.
I think it’s telling that after the brother was killed, Obama halted further strikes in that area. Pity his successor didn’t agree.
It really does seem like Trump was desperately trying to execute a SEAL team strike as quickly as possible so that he could hold it up and say, “yeah, Obama killed Bin Laden, but look, I can do this sort of thing too.”

That’s clever, but it’s skirting the question. The question was, rephrased: why didn’t a few billionaires step up, fund their own superPACs and form a takedown squad to swiftboat Trump?
My hypothesis is: they are either stupid, lazy, or somehow benefitting from Trump’s presence in the oval office.
