Any pride I felt in the D’s conviction to allow a shutdown and not give in to Trump’s demands was immediately dashed when Schumer said the stupid border wall was actually a bargaining chip.

America is fucked. I include Canada and Mexico in this, due to how intertwined we’ve all become, thanks to NAFTA. The US is going to drag us all down.
Extrication may become possible, and the US is going to see its economy tank as banking regs disappear and foreign trade grinds to a halt, because no one except the rich will be able to afford “Made In The USA” and nothing else will be available as foreign companies either a) won’t trade or b) the tariffs will price that stuff out of reach, anyway.
This is not going to end well, at all.

A watchdog group filed a pair of complaints on Monday alleging that a $130,000 payment reportedly made to a pornographic film actress who claims to have had an affair with Donald Trump violated campaign finance laws.
In submissions to the Justice Department and the Federal Election Commission, Common Cause said the alleged payment to Stephanie Clifford — who uses the stage name Stormy Daniels — amounted to an in-kind donation to Trump’s presidential campaign that should have been publicly disclosed in its official reports.

Shortly after he was done telling CNN what he was going to do way ahead of time, this rocket scientist was outsmarted & outnumbered by the folks in the FBI who also happen to have alot more guns than he did.
