Oh man, I wonder what kind of mental gymnastics are going to be done today on Fox News with regards to this thing
trump to NSA "don’t use program to listen to my calls to Hannity or Vlad!"
“…the Trump administration “hasn’t actually been using it for the past six months.”
“I’m actually not certain that the administration will want to start that back up,” Murry reportedly added.
Probably that thing we all do too much of these days: “denial.”
Ok, Americans - honestly at what point are people going to start looking at statements like this and say “what the fuck is going on?”
Cobb said, “[Mueller] has a backbone of steel. He walked into a firefight in Vietnam to pull out one of his injured colleagues and was appropriately honored for that. I’ve known him for 30 years as a prosecutor and a friend. And I think the world of Bob Mueller. He is a very deliberate guy. But he’s also a class act. And a very justice-oriented person.”
What exactly does the Vietnam War or Mueller’s military service have to do with Mueller’s investigation?
This sort of worship of military service is nothing new. It’s been around since the beginning of the US and is unlikely to go away any time soon.
Oh the joy of Weird Twitter predicting the future. I swear to God, they’re all from it.
Some people did, yes.
Qanon as the #1 best seller? Seriously? WTF have we become?
Caveat: it’s the best seller among books about “censorship and politics”. Which is still weird, but honestly, I’m guessing a lot of people are just curious. The news keeps reporting on QAnon nutters waving signs around at Trump rallies and Notch just came out as a QAnon truther, so if you want to know what the loonies are talking about (if just for a laugh), it’s easier to get a book with it summarized than to start delving into Reddit and 4chan threads.
From what I read, he is terribly bored now that he is a billionaire. /me shrugs
Wouldn’t have been a safer bet to assume he was a QAnon believer rather than than Notch not?
I think Margaret Kimberly needs to stop speaking for Democrats. She’s not helping.
Two things here…
- What kind of monster doesn’t realize kids are traumatized by being forcibly separated from their parents?
- Nielsen is doing her absolute damndest throughout this clip to conflate parents sending their kids across the border alone with DHS’s policy of actively tearing families apart when they arrive at the border and legally request asylum.
There are a bunch of other clips posted in that thread. The entire hearing is a complete omnishambles of dissembling and blame-shifting on Nielsen’s part.
I found it astounding that when asked for facts she repeatedly said she didn’t know or didn’t have. She’s just winging it with bullshit.
Or this is the strategy. Don’t know, don’t remember, wasn’t there, no info here. Sorry, guys.
I think Margaret Kimberley would be greatly offended by the implication that she’s a Democrat. She’s substantially to the left of that party.
She isn’t “speaking for Democrats”; she’s describing her perception of the situation. I think that her perception on this issue is accurate; the establishment Dems have no intention of removing Trump from office by impeachment, but intend to use Russiagate for electoral marketing.
