Bron really is the best employee ever; not a kissass, but he gets the job done and then strives to make sure he’s gonna get paid.

Weirdly, in the books he’s a much more marginal character, so I’ve enjoyed how they’ve played him in the show. A good reminder that the books and show are very much their own unique works.

Like Winston Wolf in “Pulp Fiction”, a true media role model for professionals.
With an actor like that there’s really not much choice but for the role to become a breakout character. I like the books but this is one case of several where the TV version improves on them.
My M.O. has been to watch the TV show and read the books a few chapters behind for backstory and additional details. It’s been a particularly satisfying experience.
