I don’t think you’re receiving it.
In fact, since you’ve got an award in your name, are you sure you’re still alive?

Are any of us?
Of course to many of them, rules are for OTHER people, they never expect to have to follow them. Of course that showed that RP was exactly that particular kind of shitweasle, so it comes as NO surprise that he thought that the quarantine rules didn’t apply to him UNTIL he got proof positive that he had COVID-19. Until then, he felt entitled to be a typhoid Mary. And while some may cheer him potentially putting other GOP senators in the hospital, keep in mind that they would be taking up beds that might be needed for more deserving folks.
I guess that shows who has real clout in DC. Pence apparently got his test result within hours, not days.
Perhaps not.
Having said all of that, I would not trust a doctor / surgeon who was that far out of practice. And continuing to use the title is… let’s say odd.
Sort of like a retired military officer who insists on being known by their rank in civilian life…sure you can say “I was a colonel” but introducing yourself as Colonel Blank in all contexts is a little…odd.
Like Fox commentators who haven’t been judges in decades.
that said, I will reply to guv’nor
There’s no conspiracy hole to fall into.
He was not a doctor. He called himself a doctor, but that’s no different than Trump calling himself a genius - neither self-description is or ever was true.
Ciao,
William
Rand Paul was never doctor.
Rand Paul is as much a doctor as Gwenyth Paltrow is a health expert.
Yes. HE WAS. An ophthalmologist IS a medical doctor. They can, for example, PERFORM SURGERY ON YOUR EYES. He got his degree at Duke medical, and passed a board certification (prior to his making up his own). He is not now, for sure, but he WAS a doctor.
I don’t like Paul, but I refuse to give into false information just because I believe he’s an inhuman cretin.
Look, the fact that he WAS an actual doctor only makes his actions EVEN WORSE, because it shows that he’s willing to put his ideology ahead of his actual training as a doctor. The fact that he suspected he had the virus, knew what they could mean, and spent 6 days mingling with his co-workers is what we should be focused on. He should be shamed for that, not for something that isn’t the actual case.
Not to mention all of the support staff throughout DC that keep the Congress and the District running who have to interact with him and the other GOP senators he’s exposed himself to…
I still feel pain, so I’m gonna go with, uh, yes?
I just fogged a mirror, so I’m good.
Keep it that way.
oh, my! I see what you did there! Good show!
Bet his neighbor wishes he had really beaten the shit out of him.
Too, just the latest example that there’s no truly decent Republican. Not one is worth holding office.
