After Nike hires Colin Kaepernick for ad campaign, conservative halfwits destroy own property to own the libs

The spreadsheet says that Nike gets paid for the shoes either way.

Fox News does not run that stuff. Ergo, they literally don’t see it. It does, however, run a feature piece very time a cop so much as stubs a toe, confirming their opinion that it’s one of the most dangerous jobs there is.

Yes. Yes, they are. It’s likely that you and I know different ones, but think about the terms in which they declare themselves not racist. See?

Yeah,
I’m massively conflicted now. If I refuse to buy nike because of their unethical third world work practices, will their marketing people know I am supporting one of the non-racist boycotts?

720 as of the end of July. The people who ran Killed by Police have given up. It’s got to be a soul crushing endeavor. US police kill 1200-1300 citizens every damned year. 99%, or more, of those homicides a reasonable person would call “murder.”

It is shameful that we tolerate this to continue. And yes, it is soul crushing just to view the numbers. We need to police our police and get serious about gun control. I know, I know, second amendment, NRA, yada, yada, yada. Colin Kaepernick is right…

Yeah. It’s nuts. I ran some numbers a year ago on the RATE of violence (looking at absolute numbers is confusing for some people), and it’s really deplorable. Rate of being killed by a cop (per capita and the number of cops), vs cops being killed by citizens, vs citizens killed by citizens. It’s far safer to BE a cop, and DO the killin’

No he’s not, he said nothing about the military, dead soldiers or anything else. The anthem isn’t about the military. (Although it does celebrate slavery). That “argument” ignores the dead people he’s talking about, brings in other dead people that they’d rather talk about, and reduces to “The black man is disrespecting me.”

As far as the NFL is concerned, I just find it hard to watch

Well, that’s one thing we have in common.

I fairly sure at least some of these fine folk will suddenly remember they really liked their Nikes and buy a replacement pair. Others will have bought Nike products just to make a show of burning them…
I doubt Nike’ll lose much, if anything, as a result of this boycott

I don’t think I can adequately express exactly how creepy that sounds to me as someone raised in 1980s Germany.

Equating patriotism with fascism is ridiculous.
