I guess all the petty authoritarians have their flying monkey brigades. When Erdogan sent his Turkish goons to beat up protesters in D.C. awhile back, I posted a comment about it on Facebook and almost immediately got heckled by a woman I had never seen or heard from before or since. The usual boilerplate: “He is making [insert country name here] great! Those [insert ethnic or religious group name here] are terrorists!” Repeat.
