Sorry. All the interesting topography in 'Bama is south and west of Huntsville, but not close to it. Someone upthread suggested Tupelo, but that’s a fair hike from Huntsville. Nashville is the nearest e-ticket, I’m afraid.

The closest interesting topography is probably Arkansas… still a fair hike away.
Good points. There’s always the local stuff that you would have to explore in order to find. I love that stuff.
