Let’s hope kids never get to see aroused Peppa Pig.
I like my cartoon animal dads less hapless!
My daughter still calls me daddy pig. He taught her to see her own dad’s ridiculousness and fallibility with love; and although I sometimes wish he were a LITTLE less mocked by those he loves and dedicates himself to, his status as world puddle jumping champ (amongst other luminous achievements) gives him a quiet confidence and ability to laugh at himself that I aspire to.
Yes, I have thought about daddy pig’s role in his family system rather too much.
