Yep. Telling your most rabid fans to “knock the hell out of them, I promise to pay your legal fees” doesn’t apparently count as incitement to violence. As long as you’re a republican.
The good news is I had forgotten he was running, and although I don’t normally donate to political campaigns I just donated to his. I’ll donate to a hero astronaut every damn time.
If that’s true then he’s inciting of violence for political coercion. First the NRA and now the GOP is a terrorist organization?
Yeah, that describes how I feel perfectly.
But it’s still outrageous, even if I’m all out of outrage.
Actually, it just occurred to me to wonder since this is normal/expected GOP behavior, can it really be considered outrageous.
And, checking the OED, the answer is yes:
1. Of an action or its result: excessively injurious or cruel; of the nature of a gross violation of justice, morality, decency, etc.; wicked, evil; grossly offensive or hurtful.
It is no accident Kristin Bell’s character in Good Place was a “Trashbag from Arizona”.
The place seems full of 'em. See: Sascha Coehn’s mosque skit.
I kind of like the state despite the jokes, but right-wingers from AZ are a special breed of awful. I wasn’t surprised to see AZ on the list of the states skipping the 2020 GOP primaries in deference to Biff, for example.
Oh the irony of the gun huggers calling him a gun grabber. They like folks who grab em by the pussy, but grabbing guns requires deadly force.
Unfortunately, in Trump’s America, that’s the white supremacist…
Thanks for a genuine Laugh Out Loud. That really tickled my funny node.
Yew libruls have no sence of humor!
In the right wing american heartland, you are either a pirate or you are sharkbait. There is no middle ground. And thats gone unquestioned for so long, to infringe on the white man’s god-given right to intimididate his lessors, thats just socialist!
There really isnt any point compromising with such people.
They will invariably say “no, I don’t agree with that stuff, I just want lower taxes!”, which they have been saying for as long as I’ve been alive. Never mind that 90% of Republicans support Donald Trump’s policies. It seems like 100% of Republicans are in that 10% who don’t, just like always
There’s no missed irony here. This is stochastic murder. They don’t know who’s going to pull the trigger, only that they’re shifting the odds that SOMEONE will, while giving themselves just enough deniability to pretend they aren’t accountable.
These are the people who attacked John Kerry for doing the exact thing that he got a silver and bronze start for and it worked. There is no reality to them outside of what they manufacture.
