they are not that good even though
I have not found a set that I can say I like
I once obtained some wilkinson sword ones (posh arse nose)
that sort of made the grade (similar to above)
but they even went to china…

I photographed these today at a CVS competitor. Revlon isn’t fancy, but it’s not junk either. There were some more generic options in the $2-3 range.
You ever try clipping right after a shower/bath? I that doesn’t work then I say let them grow out and put them to work in the garden!
You know, I’ve had pretty mixed results with brand names, actually. The last decent ones I got were no-names from a dollar store, of all places. The biggest problem seems to be if the blades aren’t perfectly aligned or well sharpened. A shower doesn’t seem to make much of a difference.
And yeah, they get plenty of abuse in the garden.
Nail clippers. You never know when you are gonna need 'em.
I highly recommend investing in nail clippers that catch the clippings. I don’t know why that feature doesn’t come standard. And only $8

There’s a reason why old Bassett TRIM nail clippers fetch a ridiculous premium on eBay, and it isn’t because people are building collections of nail clippers.
