What do we have total at this point, 13 playaz?
Twelve, I believe. Let me audit my numbaz.
Below are the nine who have filled out their registration forms. (Pardon the craptastic formatting, this was just a quick-n-dirty copypasta. Real data dumps here will look ever so much better.)

@Mister44, @Agfish, and @kingannoy have yet to fill out their forms!
You are correct, we are rolling pretty heavy with the Scoutsā¦
Small things tend to blow up easy.
But without enough Mules thereās not much to scout forā¦
Anyone waiting to sign up may do soā¦ itās 8:00!
Go! Go, you sorry sonsabitchesā¦
Well, anyway. Doorās open until midnight (and probably thereafter, for a while at least). First mission will be posted in about 12 hours or so!
There are a few NPC Mules, anyway, certainly enough for our purposes in most situations. But it would, indeed, be nice to have more than one player be a Mule.
Junior will be a busy Teamster!
If anyoneās having trouble choosing a vehicle, I wouldnāt be surprised to seeing a Toyota Hilux out in the wasteland.
Sounds like a reasonable* choice. Care to show the rest of 'em how itās doneā¦?
Weād love to have you tearing around in the Wasteland with us!
*Edit: The only car I ever bought new was a 1994 Hilux (well, I bought it in the States, so itās just a Toyota Pickup) with a 5-speed and 22R-E 4 cylinder. 2-wheel drive. Paid $7500 for it, brand-new at Toyota of El Cajon, as it was one of the very last shipment (built in October '94) before the new-for-1995 Tacomas appeared on the lot, similarly-equipped for around $11K.
I gave it to my niece a few years back, and sheās still driving it around Alaska with over 290,000 miles on it.
That truck will outlive us all.
You are, presumably, aware of Top Gearās (unsuccesful) attempts to kill a Hilux by drowning it, setting fire to it and putting it on top of a high rise before it was demolished?

Do you really want to start in 12 hours? You donāt want to wait a while and see if we get a few more players?
Indeed! And it never failed to start. Those episodes were actually where I learned that Toyota Pickups had an actual name outside of the States.
The only thing Iād change about the 22R is the fact that itās an interference engine. Still, I didnāt change the timing chain and gears until 250,000 miles and then only because I lost interest in rolling the dice when my niece was getting ready to drive the truck to Alaska. Not once did any part of that truck ever fail. I broke a thing or two myself, and wear and tear items like brake pads (and a clutch one time, also at 250,000 miles) were routinely replaced, but nothing ever actually broke on its own.
Some say this thing has been driven across the arctic without freezing, that it wandered through a lava field without melting, that it floats on water if you find any thatās deep enough . The odometerās broken and Iām not sure if any of thatās true, but it sure does start when you need it to.

Vehicle: 1988 Toyota Hilux
Class: Escort
Favorite Possessions: My trusty lab Rusty, a hefty breaker bar, and the ever useful truck winch.
Most excellent! Here comes a PM with a link to the registration form.
Finally another Escort! This thing has really come together.
Iām callinā it, everyone. Weāve got 13 stalwart drivers (two of which still need to send in their registration forms!! Talkinā at you, @kingannoy and @Mister44!) which is definitely enough to have a good time with. Tomorrowās mission is essentially a travel mission (you still have to actually get to Huntington Beach, yāknow) so this is a soft lock. Maybe others will join us on the morrow, but we wonāt wait.
Stat rolls in the morning, followed by Round One travel missions! Keep an eye out for the Badass Dragons of the Wasteland - Round One thread!
Until then, donāt take any irradiated nickels.
Ha ha good one yes! Yes they do they do, they do, but finding them thatās the thing eh? Teat on a bullās behind and all that, eh?
I grew up on the other side of the pond, in the beginning we used to do most things on bikes, best fuel efficiency but awful range, after SHITGO hit the market most people switched back to cars.
After getting bored I decided to hitch a ride to somewhere else, I signed up as a āgalley slaveā helping power the SHITGO engines of a empty oil tanker travel back to the last struggling oil wells. From there I got on another (half full) tanker and made it to the wastelands you seem to call home.
Traded my wages for a nice ride, splurged on a black paint job (hold the shine please, I like it matte) and thatās when I heard of this grand space faring adventure, how could I resist?

Character: Mike āNervousā Snelvuur
Class: Escort
Vehicle: Matte black 1970 Pontiac Firebird
Possessions: I got the parts that once made up my bike but donāt seem to recall how they go back together again.
No can do, a bit overwhelmed with other stuff right now.
But if I was playing Iād have a 1967 Pontiac Catalina Station Wagon in Midnight Blue with the stock 428cu 375 horsepower block, a steel timing gear salvaged from a 69 GTO, aftermarket headers and 4-bbl carb, and a rear-firing scrap cannon made from 10 feet of salvaged titanium heat exchanger pipe (because itās already rifled, yāknow?).
150 mph easy, good acceleration considering the 2 ton base weight, with room for cats and girlfriends. Can drive away from being t-boned by an 18-wheeler. 8ā x 4ā x 2.5ā main cargo area with the back seat folded down, as well as additional cargo storage under the rear deck to keep the litter box from flying around the main compartment.
Only problem would be that youād only get about 6mpg on that once you replaced the huge expanses of glass with steel and hearse panels. Probably need an extra gas tankā¦ but thereād be plenty of room for one in that boat!
Itās a shame that you canāt join. I hope you can read along and live vicariously through the players.
Also, a General Announcement:
We are going to allow late signups during the first few rounds. The game is set up in such a way that itās relatively easy to add characters during gameplay, and since we didnāt come close to meeting our maximum number, people can feel free to hop in a little later.
BAM!
