“It is the Chosen One.”
“Surely. The one without tags in his ears. As the prophecy foretold”
“It is said he will lead us to the land of Grass and Water.”
“Where the balls will be returned to the steers.”
“And the milk will not be taken.”
“Moo.”
Looks a little more like he’s being politely escorted off of their pasture.
I hope the photographer is on a motorbike, because at first I thought the cows were growling.
I’m guessing the cows are deciding whether to stampeded and kill the beaver or not.
“Beaver Leads a Cow Parade”
That would make a great title for a pre-schooler storybook about a beaver named Beaver.
Seems about right.
Yep. It’s that Rancher-Bovine Extradition Treaty… at work!
Beaver: "I’m not the Messiah!"
Cows: "Only the true Messiah denies his divinity."
Beaver: "All right, I am the Messiah."
Cows: “He is! He is!”
My wife, who used to have a wheat and cattle ranch, says that cows are very curious animals. They’re trying to get a look at him. Funny that he doesn’t seem intimidated by them in the least.
Beaver leads a cow parade
Bound to happen sooner or later.
You had me at “Moo”.
I’m sorry, cows are incredibly stupid. Calfs, apparently are born smart, They know that you want. Steaks! Or worse, veal!!. Unfortunately, they grow up to be stupid cows.
That’s what I thought.
They don’t have to be the smartest ungulates on the planet to have a sense of curiosity.
(Speaking of which, the Wikipedia article on cattle includes an entire section on their cognitive abilities. tl;dr - they’re not that stupid.)
