This is selfish of me but I hope they hold off on doing anything stupid / seditious / traitorous until after the first week of August. In 2018 the “Unite the Right 2” ‘rally’ took place the last day of Otakon, and this year’s Otakon is August 6th through 8th. Luckily that rally turned out to be a tempest in a teapot and if anything does happen I hope it’s as big as that was.
But even better, if they could just not come in until Monday night that’d be great.

I’m not a liberal (socialism is not liberalism and liberalism is not socialism), but I tend to forget about his existence very quickly* without far-right bullshit like this. I am not sure of course but there is trend with cult and conspiracy nuts to think that their ideas are utterly unknown to others. For their word view it is essential to think (…) that other people would believe the same thing if They Just Knew!!!
This is most obvious with certain christian cultists who would really start their argument with telling you about that Jesus person as if christianity is not one of the most widely published religion on this planet. They must, MUST believe that you are just not a christian because you never heard of it…
Anyway…circling back, it is quite possible these guys really believed they were preaching something that most people in that stadium never heard before, they really thought that the message alone would convince people.
Because otherwise they would have to accept that many people KNOW the message, considered it, and then dismissed it as crap.
