The top 10 billionaires have lost more money in January than it’s possible for a person to spend in several lifetimes as markets make a turbulent start to 2022, leaving them only with more money between those ten men than the amount owned by the bottom 40% of the entire world’s population combined, times six. And this is from a high of having doubled over the course of the pandemic, so they’re still up from where they were.
