It’s not possible. I had an intern ask me to stop assigning “homework” on fridays. It turns out they interpreted me playfully asking obscure legal questions at happy hour as work they should get back to me.
At another point I was killing time watching Netflix before a late dinner date and realized they weren’t leaving because I hadn’t and had to remind them I’m not their supervisor and I do not care when they leave and if pressed will not remember.
It’s hard to understate how much pressure any full time employee has over interns in DC let alone a supervisor or the president.
I don’t think it’s possible to give consent. If you really think there’s a connection keep your distance and see if they reach out when the internship is over.

Loyalty to power I’d think. As long as you can keep the party monolithic you can win elections by hook or crook and then it won’t matter who you supported, you’ll be in charge. It has been an effective strategy for the Republicans since the Newt Gingrich era. Circle the wagons always and never give an inch. Always keep on message and never waver from the current propaganda. If the party decides to back the pedophile, then you better get your excuses, deflections, equivocations, and gaslights ready.

Ok. I wasn’t sure if you knew or not. It is entirely possible that a closeted rock star might assault girls to help hide their orientation. It’s also possible they might have assaulted male fans. I don’t recall ever hearing negative stories about Halford but he’s not someone I have thought much about since middle school.
