On my spouseā€™s birthday one year, we went a restaurant in Chicago, the name of which I unfortunately donā€™t remember. Funky sandwich place with wooden tables that people had been carving and writing and drawing on for years.

Right where she sat, someone had written out the lyrics to ā€œOlderā€ :smiley:

We were with friends who know where stuff is, whereas I donā€™t. I couldnā€™t say which part of Chicago it was, except that we walked over to the OI museum after, and a quick look at Google Maps tells me that was right.

Yup. The OI is such a lovely little museum. Also, the best gift shop EVAR (but absolutely no returns, so donā€™t buy on a whim).

Canā€™t say that Medici is where I would spend a loved oneā€™s birthday, but Iā€™m sure it was about the company, not the ambiance!
