Boston Dynamics' door-opening dogbot gets rough treatement

Crying out loud, if spearing and slashing doesn’t work, go for tripping! Come on: What Would Brad Marchand Do?

Plus this effort is weak sauce, considering it looks like a dog; especially if they’re smaller, dogs always go low and grab a back leg and pull.

I obvsly don’t understand the purpose of the test…

There will be a brave and dedicated resistance.

Ruh-roh! Who let the dog plans out?

The don’t show the one where the programmer decided to prank everyone by altering the algorithm so that after a few stymied attempts, it turns around and shakes its head/fist at the guy.

“Atlas love box, Dan love family.”

I’m wondering if anyone here actually thinks the robot gives a shit.

Don’t put gravel in that blender, you’ll make it cry.

Its got a good software architecture in there and some nicely written algorithms. Well done.

Give that yellow robo-dog a good bark and I bet you that guy drops the stick and runs.

Cheap, obvious elbow to the head?
