I would literally weep to have “approaching a bare minimum standard of decency” in my world. It would be an amazing thing to have, no matter my disapproval of ineffective centrists.
This last weekend a local mosque was set afire and a neighbor had “FUCKING MEXICANS” spraypainted onto their RV. I don’t live in prime Trump territory, either.
