Unfortunately we live in a country where the Parliament is now so supine that it takes Gina Miller to get them to do their job. Anybody would think the Conservative Party had a large majority. But now we know that 1 in 6 women MPs have had so much abuse that, had they anticipated it, they would not have stood for election, the sheer unpleasantness of a significant part of our population is being exposed.

the law is a stupid one, but I don’t think revoking it will hinder the information exchange. the intelligence services are best pals and UKUSA is not going away only because IPA dies

Excuse me: that’s USA->UK. The “Special relationship” involves the insertion of Long Island into the Bristol Channel. Or, to put it another way, how many spy bases does the UK have in the US? And how many US ones are based in Britain?
At least it keeps Harrogate more prosperous than the rest of north Yorkshire.
